What Is The Difference Between Standard Superfood Powders & Juice Powders?
This is one question that we hear very often. Many people are a bit confused on the difference between our standard herb powders (e.g. Kale Powder, Acai Berry Powder, Wheatgrass Powder, etc.) and our juice powders (e.g. Kale Juice Powder, Acai Berry Juice Powder, Wheatgrass Juice Powder, etc.).
To answer the question clearly, picture a bag full of fresh picked and dried kale and a glass of freshly squeezed kale juice. To make our standard berry powder the bag of kale is simply dried and ground up into a powder. To make our juice powder the kale is squeezed to first make the juice and then the juice is dried to make the juice powder.
So how is the juice powder more nutrient dense? Well, let's say that it takes 5-10 lbs of kale to make 1 pound of kale powder. Take the same kale and figure that the same 5-10 lbs will make approx. 64 fluid ounces of kale juice. Now that juice is freeze dried to make only about 6-10 ounces or so of pure juice powder. So you see it takes a whole lot more kale to make our juice powders than our regular powders. See, it's really not that complicated after all.
